Kevin,
I hope you find encouragement in coming to know that, with our God in the
equation, any way you wish to measure it, it always results as: "Take up your
bed and walk"! Our loving Father is the "restorer of the breech" and
regardless of what crosses our paths, even death, we walk on, never for a
moment without the comfort of His love. In the bigger picture to which we
are called to participate, our living here and dying here will pale in
comparison as we move "from glory to glory". In the culture of natural man,
rubbing up against death and loss always results in a crisis mentality. In
the culture of the new creature in Christ Jesus we find peace and the
empowering to "be still, and know that I am God". I realize you know this
already, but sometimes it is refreshing to hear it from a different angle.
