Congratulations! You have successfully created a new e-mail group. Please read the following information carefully:

Group e-mail address

The group address is theocracy-vft@egroups.com. Depending on the policies you set, sending an e-mail message to this address may distribute it to all group members by e-mail and on the eGroups.com site. If the group policy is moderated, you will have to approve each message before it is posted.

E-Group moderator interface

You can manage the group by using the Web-based e-groups interface at http://www.egroups.com. Please go to there and familiarize yourself with the functions and options you have on our service.

In particular, you can:

modify the group's policies,

check and change the current membership,

easily add a group membership form to your Web site.

Joining your E-Group

There are three ways for people to join your group:

You can manually add members using the group manager Web interface.

Users can add themselves by entering their e-mail addresses into the membership form found with the group's messages on the eGroups.com site. (You also can add such a Web-based membership form on your own Web site. Click on "HTML for your Web site" in the group manager interface, to obtain the HTML code you need.)

Users can send an e-mail to theocracy-vft-subscribe@egroups.com

If you have set the group up to require approval for new members, you will receive approval requests by e-mail.

Getting your group started

E-mail groups are like conversations in the real world. As the organizer, you have to work on getting the right people together, seeding the conversation with interesting items, etc. Don't expect things to take off just by themselves! Invite people to join your group, advertise your group in guides such as Yahoo!, create a home page for your group that includes a subscription box, etc.
