Why You Should Go Through the Door |
||
Reason #1: Rio Said To. |
||
Reason #2 Because I love you and I'm only a
partial jerk, not a total jerk. There will be something valuable
on this journey, I'm sure. Consideration #2a. I'm trying to do everything I can to help you and Rio get back together. I explained to Rio very briefly what I thought the answer was, and Rio agreed. I explained that it seemed to me that your act of adultery had caused a wound, and for you to ask Rio to return to the bedroom was to pick at that wound rather than heal it. Reason #3 Elsie said that she was hurt by the number and quality of people you've told about the affair. She has hinted about worries (or perhaps I have merely read into her remarks) that you see the affair as a trophy, or a conquest, rather than something hurtful and shameful. There's a thin line between confession and boasting. |
||
casting down arguments and every high thing that
exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the
obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5 |
Reason #4 Tony Mazzilli has expressed the
conflict he experiences when you talk to him about men's "natural desires" for
women, and how men's "needs" must be fulfilled. Consideration #4a It breaks my heart to hear (or hear reports of) little Daniel talking in lustful terms about some woman on TV (one of those shows with "mature themes"). I think Daniel's "manly" talk comes in part from insecurity. He's looking for confirmation or direction. Isaac doesn't talk as brashly as Daniel, but I'll bet he's been wounded by all this as well. All of this convinces me that you've given up ground to the prevailing myths of our day, and you need to take back lost ground by attacking these dark fortresses, cleansing your spirit of anti-Christian myths. |

When I said I would try to get you to go on this journey, Rio
approved. She said you would have to go through that door if you wanted her back. I believe you really want to get back with Rio. There is a way back. |
